Storm & Calm
through the clouds came the calm light of the red sun
its lovely face disappeared for a moment
playing hide and seek being swallowed
by a most horrible darkness
the darkness brings a friend
the stormy wind roars angrily
fury bursting—intensifying
the mountains shimmy and shake from the
thundering alarm
and the road above is lit up as a
candle and blown out immediately by
the lightning
the blackness broke—dissolving into
water—and the clear day happily
gazing on the once lit up road
I question:
“who knows if a similar change is in store for my fortunes”
