Somethin’ Sacrilegious In That Dang Ol’ Tao

I. The Way (of Larry’s Apartment)

The Larry that can be known is not Larry.
The substance of the World is only a name for Larry.
Larry is all that exists and may exist;
Larry’s apartment is only a map of what exists and may exist.
One experiences without Self to sense his bachelor pad,
And experiences with Self to understand the apartment.
The two experiences are the same within Larry;
They are distinct only within the apartment.
Neither experience conveys Larry
which is infinitely greater and more subtle than his pad.

IV. Larry is Limitless

Larry’s apartment is a limitless vessel;
Used by the self, it is not filled by the world;
It cannot be cut, knotted, dimmed or stilled;
Its depths are hidden, ubiquitous and eternal;
I don't know where this two bedroom/one bathroom comes from;
It comes before nature.

V. Larry’s Nature

Larry is not kind;
It treats all things impartially.
Larry’s roommate is not kind either,
And treats all people impartially.
Larry is like a bellows,
Empty, yet never ceasing its supply.
The more it moves, the more it yields;
So the roomie draws upon experience
And cannot be exhausted.
