A version of Catullus 101

Carried over peoples and swells
i arrive, other, at your end rites
bearing what i know as sorrow
to gift to you, pyrrhic now, enashened.
Since wheels and whim spun your body
under for their lechery, alas, other, besnatched
by odd meters and ritual sayings ancestral,
i yield tribute in tears, cries and inquiry,
allowed by the fraternity of space-time

to say my first hello as last farewell enacted.
