Poetics of Power pt. 1

To Err Divine
Pushed backward onto the table
tabled
knowing that liberation can only come
when we are forcefully pulled off the table
as we kiss the lips of power with passion
and are thrown to the ground
to be ravaged
clothes torn
off
hands pinned
down
eagerly awaiting
the next command
the next demand
will we be rewarded and fucked until it hurts
or
will we be punished and beaten until ecstasy

Stand.
yes Master
Turn around.
…yes Master…yes
Hands behind your head.
…yes Master …yes Master…yes
Now you will kneel to the ground very slowly.
…yes Master …yes Master …yes Master…yes Master
Lay flat on the ground and do not move unless you are told.
…yes Master …yes Master …yes Master …yes Master…yes Master…yes
If you lay completely still you will be rewarded. If you move you will be punished.

two choices: Love or Liberation
Love – a revolutionary virtue
Liberation – eudaimonia

Stand up. Keep your head down. Look me in the eyes and you will be punished.
…yes Master …yes Master …yes Master …yes Master…yes Master…yes
You will only speak when you are told to speak. Do you understand?
…yes Master …yes Master …yes Master…yes Master
Would you like to be beaten right now?
…yes Master …yes Master…yes
Would you like to be fucked?
…yes Master…yes
On the ground.
…ye…

To Err Divine

culture creates a color

as blue as the bark of a tree

as black as the bark of knowledge

as profound as a question

as erred as divinity itself
